So sad. I'm sorry Brenda. It is tough to say goodbye to our furry babies and I know the grief. I like the emphasis that you put on the eyes in this drawing. The color blending creates nice shading and a pretty coat of fur. I imagine since Snooper was a Jack Russell that he was probably not only sweet but very smart, which I think you did a good job showing in this image.

I so appreciate your words at this time and your compliments on Snooper's portrait. He was indeed a lively chap and very intelligent. He learned quickly. Had 2 wives in his lifetime and outlived both. He sired two litters also. We also had a King Charles and we had a pedigree litter with her. She was so lazy about the pups, Snooper would see to them and bring them to her for feeding. He was amazing.

this is a lovely pastel work and nothing more sadder when a trusty pet passes. he had a gorgeous look and you have captured a real emotion in the eyes and face. all you can do is just celebrate a wonderful and happy life.

Hi Brenda, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious little Jack Russel Terrier , Snooper, they become part of the family and they take a piece of our heart when they go, I like your painting of Snooper, nice ce shape and structure and his color pattern with the white to cream face, black nose and eyes outlined in black and black across the top of his head! Stand up ears and a nice alert expression on his face, beautiful big brown soulful eyes! This is well created and arranged in a portrait of Snooper!
