I think these are pretty flowers too. The brightness of the colors look good and the ant stands out pretty nicely too! The crop is a but tight at the top but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the flower.

thanks,,lately I have been having trouble uploading my photos so have to crop and crop until its accepted,,not sure why

I love the Wild Iris, I have these in my back yard, nice angle of shot, well focused, nice clear image, beautiful purple petals with the white and tpyellow detail, nice color combination with the purple and green together. Well composed allowing a sense of this location and how the Wild Iris grows, well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!
