This is a beautiful piece. The colors and contrast add a surreal feel to the painting. Love the far off look of the musician as if the music is reminiscent of some distant love. Great piece.

A lovely feel, lovely colors, great subject and technique. I like your ladies -- this especially! I wonder what she is playing? Is that an intentional mark in the sky up from the viewer's left elbow like a little "music sprite"? Probably not, but I noticed it first thing... Daphne

I like the surreal atmospheric appearance. The nature in the background seems in to inspire the musician. The painting has a surreal-romantic touch. The woman seems part of nature, perhaps nature itself. The colors are dramatic as is the music calls the wind and the clouds. The panting is beautifully composed.

Beautiful presentation here of a young woman playing a cello. The loose impressionistic background is done with a flourish and bright colour pallet which sets a great backdrop for the main subject she is skillfully drawn, anatomy knowledge shown. Face features are beautiful and clear with expression. There is movement in her action of playing. Great impact overall.
