This is a beautiful view. How the orange of autumn glows beneath the dark mountains and the heavy clouds is stunning. The single tree right of center is especial intriguing. The photo has exquisite depth and is excellently composed. Light and colors are realistic. The framing looks perfect. The composition is balanced.

I could not have named these mountains more aptly. Yes I can see the rainbow colors behind the brown and dark green landscape. I love the darkness of the sky coming up above the mountain with just a bit of light to the left still a apparent which brings out the color of the mountains. Thank you for sharing this beautiful view.

Oh how artistically scenic Pat. I think the streak of sunlight illuminating the foreground grasses and Especially the yellow tree is such an eye catcher. The evergreens behind the yellow tree serve to enhance the stand out quality of the tree.
In the background another area is sunlit which contrasts so nicely with the surrounding mountains. The mountains are clear and focused showing the in the rocks. The dark sky accents and completes the scene.

nature plays with you in favorite as this grey sky really adds a lot and adapts very well to the color of the mountains - I love the way you placed the few greens up front creating a nice valley effect - perfect focus, contrast and lighting - clear and sharp and perfect color saturation
