This is superb Cara!!
Low key Photography when done correctly can be so emotive like this one here.
I tire of so many here not truly understanding Low key Photography. All I hear is they want to see it lighter. It takes skill to use light and to allow your subject to come out of the shadows just right.
He is a handsome boy and I like his all black coat of fur.
Superb eye clarity, great pose and outstanding use of low light.
Should have entered this in the pet Contest.
All camera techs are spot on here.

Hey Av, this is a really beautiful photograph. This photo reminds me of my first dog, a black lab, who still remains one of my favorites. I really like the background and the way you have captured the light reflecting off of the dogs face, it really is stunning. Another great photo here Av.
