This is a beautiful interesting flower Columbine. We have a common name for it and I can't remember, but we cultivated them for our customers when I did gardening. There are many colours in light pastels but this has a lovely strong strain the angle is good and displays it to advantage. Great focus captured detail.

Absolutely gorgeous nature image Pat. I have never seen a flower like this. The three tone colour is so lovely and against the green backdrop. Lovely off centre placement and the clarity and details are superb with wonderful natural sunlight. A pleasure to view!

how gorgeous, white trumpets within purple petals and an explosion of brightest yellow from its centre. And it is hardy. So you can see many of them as a special bonus. some wild flowers cannot be beaten by the gardener!
