Beautiful bird sitting nicely amongst the branches of the pine tree. The colors are very natural with good focus and dof. White balance and exposure are good.

I think Michigan is a little too cold to have them, but we do have our share of avian pests. Not as attractive as this one though. A well composed image with great colors.

This creature would make a good "green" entry. I can't believe they are pests. I like the way you captured the expression on his face and the softness of his feathers behind the crispness of the evergreen. The little red beak gives the pictures the needed pop.

They are indeed pretty, and With the most lovely green feathers. I like the way the bird is looking Down and how nicely it is framed by the pines. The bird is also standing out really well from the softened background.
Perhaps the Focus on the bird is a tad soft, but it is still Clear details to be seen. I also think the exposure is spot on.
The format you have cropped the photo into Works so well, and the bird has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Fred, and With a very good DOF.

The light highlighting it's beautiful green plumage while catching the sparkle in it's golden eye & the shine on it's pink beak. A fairly good nature scene posted here! You have clearly found a beautiful and interesting subject in your nice and classical composition. However, I do feel, that the main subject is not sharp enough. Exposure though is good. Nice try!
