That does indeed look like a pretty sketchy and dangerous current to be caught up in and glad that you were in the safety of the boat and I would imagine a well trained captain at the helm.A good opportunistic image captured on film and presented well here for the contest

I like your PoV. You created an somewhat abstract appearance of the splashing waves in this close up. The limitation of color and the contradiction of light and dark is intriguing. Your photo is well focused and exposed. The framing is appropriate. The composition is balanced.
