Well this looks like a cute friendly Bug! I like his blue wings and red eyes.
Nice sense of movement with the wings.

This is very simplistic. I really like the bright red eyes that leap off the page. I don't care for the bright green background and one wing coming from the top of the insect and the other coming from the bottom.

I am not sure why you think that one wing comes from the bottom. Do you perhaps mistake the darker areas of the brown body as part of the wing?

To me, the wing on the right looks like it is coming from the top, and left wing looks like it is coming from underneath the insect. I can't see it any other way.

No problem. We all see different.
You might be irritated because I painted against the natural order of things on earth. Our bugs have their wings growing from their back but my alien bug sprougs wings on its belly. :o)
