This is an interesting piece. For me it stirs the tender moment of mother and child very well. Color is more difficult than black and white, but this one, even though animated, still shows great talent for shading. Nicely done.

Now let me offer you a lil advice on the rating system here. 6 stars means excellent work....5 stars means great work no I'm improvement..4 1/2 stars means good work but need some improvement. 4 stars means fair work but needs a lot of improvement..and so on down the line..now I'll warn ya. I love the idea of this! The colors are spot on and the resemblance between the mother and her daughter makes the picture all more believable. The movement is also very good! Well done!

This composition represents many things.
The focus of the woman and child is one of love, unity and memories.
The cuddling up of them shows love and bonding creating memories. The colors symbolize many things. Yellow is happiness, purple and pink are meditative. I don't know if you planned this. The window with the distant blue swirls of night seems dreamy. All this makes a pleasing picture.

Thru life Norman Rockwell has been my idol .he takes the most simple things in life that we take for granted and created colorful creations...he has been long dead so I'm gonna carry that same torch in this modern age..now that folks are finally noticing me I'm gonna pursue that.. thanks for the great review
