The Fawn is adorable. The baby seems comfortable sleeping in its bed of old leaves and new green. Your PoV from above shows the markings and the softness of its coat. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The tall format is sufficient. The Fawn is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Thanks for the wonderful review! I wish if we were nominated for Photo of the Month they would allow us to pick what image we wanted to enter;usually the one they choose isn?t what i would have chosen-lol!

A beautiful subject and a very fine shot. I like the curled up pose of the fawn and the excellent detail in its coat. It is a tribute to you that you are able to get so close to your subjects. A fine composition with great colors.

I love finding them,this year has been a challenge,with the rain we received in early spring the plants are all taller then they were last year at the same time,making it harder to spot them,being 5?4? doesn?t help,either. This one was just outside of the woods.

I fell right over one once when I was trying to take a photo of an old car in the woods!It scared the hell out of me and the fawn both! : o
