False Indigo seems a funny name for a plant. I guess the flower is a hybrid and got its name for the purple color which distinguishes it from its blue cousins. The colors of the flowers and the background are appealing. Your mixed media has the mood of a beautiful summer day, but also reminds of fireworks. Your mixed media is swell composed and framed. The tall format emphasizes the False Indigo. The composition is balanced.

Hi Cle, I have to agree with you on the name! The other thing that's funny is the first "False Indigo " I looked up had yellow flowers. I had to go back and find this particular flower. Anyways!!! Hi Pat, I used the original background, but took out all the specks that didn't seem to fit. After that the background was blurred. Since I could seen to find any color that fit I just stuck with what I had. I have to admit I don't know why they call this False Indigo, but it is a pretty and colorful flower. Hi Sange, When I heard about the tragedy of the building collapse in Florida, the first thing that came to mind were contractors not following construction standards. It's sad to think that the innocent had to suffer the consequences. I can't imagine the pain family and friends are going thru now waiting to get some kind of news. My heart goes out to them 100% along with my prayers. ....Thank you so much for the wonderful review! :o) Helvi

this is pretty cool and creative. the floral forms is great. the depth is great. the details is great. the shading is great. the blend of the colors is great. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and awesome work overall. oh btw i finished the video..i had to cut out 3 frames due to time. it still came out cool. im waiting for fred to review it and give the ok so i can post it to youtube. ill keep ya informed and again you did an awesome jobon the poem..fred is really impressed. wink.
