This flower is lovely. It seems tat the flower covers part of her face with a charming gesture. Your photo has good depth and is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the refinement of detail and the realism of light and color. The black background emphasizes the flower remarkably. The mixed media is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This certainly fits the requirement for the color yellow contest. And the black or dark background sets the yellow of the yellow flower off. Like the greens and the blue-like fuzz/lighting around the stem or branch and leaves. It may take a little away from the composition by capturing the work from the corner, or it may enhance it by making it different. Really good either way.

A kind like different picture, very close up to show the very details of the special flower with some parts positioned into the center- clear and sharp with a special purpose as the rest is full in darkness - strong initial impression, thanks for sharing

Such a beautiful composition- you are truly deft in the art of nature photography. It's a great entry to the contest and to me, it will give a run of money to all participants. I love the half bit of flower which has yet to bloom fully and spread out. Kudos
