Outstanding capture of the fawn, its facial features and big ears so darling, the pose and relaxation as well as the dots showing so well. The distant touch of greenery is nice, the ground ok but photographed well also.

What a great photo op. He is posing for you like he is enjoying the photo session. Great crop and excellent lighting. The soft scene is ready for an outdoor magazine cover. Every once in a while, we are in the right place at the right time with a camera. Great shot.

I love Hot summer weather and it's sad to think that this Summer will be over and done with before we know it! *sigh*
That's a fine looking picture,LeeAnn!
I was worried that this fawn might have been 'taking the Dirt Nap' when I first glimpsed the image but that probably won't happen until Hunting Season comes around!

Looks like we are gonna get a taste of Fall next week here, hopefully some much needed rain, too. This one should be safe during hunting season, hopefully it?s Mother will be, too.Hate seeing orphan fawns in the winter, though they usually hook up with other deer, blame that on being traumatized by *Bambi* as a child.

I was traumatized by 'Gorgo' as a child! His mother straightened things out rather nicely though! : )

Initially thought that this would be another antler shot. Your fine composition suggests, according to your notes, that it found a nice and comfortable spot to rest in. Nicely taken!

Had a nice bed of pine needles to lie on, it was shady, and had a bit of a breeze going through,so it definitely found a place to beat the heat!

This little Fawn is adorable. I like its confident expression. Apparently, something caught the attention of the animal, perhaps yourself and your camera. Your photo has good depth, is perfect focused and exposed, and carefully enhanced. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The Fawn has a good placement within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Look at those alert ears! Beautiful fawn, I like it's position within the frame and it's such a wonderful pose .
Spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear, well defined detail over every part of this fawn I especially appreciate the face and that alert expression and clear eye !
Exposure is correct , colors and tones appear natural, nice composition allowing such a good sense of this location. Well presented!

Thanks so much Pat! Lots of times when the deer get really warm, they will stretch their legs out away from the body instead of having them curled up alongside.
