I don't think you could have entered this contest with a greener entry Lee Ann. I just love ferns and even have some plants in my garden. In this photo it seems to be a whole field of them, and you have pictured them so well.
The photo is very sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in all the leaves. The green color is crisp and clear, and the exposure is perfect.
The tall format is working well, and I like the way the fern is filling the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Those Ferns are beautiful. I like that you filled the entire frame with them. Your photo has good dept and is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I enjoy the realism of light and color and the sharpness of detail. The mixed media is excellent composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Fine looking ferns here. The colors, mostly one, of the ferns are so fresh in appearance. The darks of the background woven throughout brings some breaks in the same color green.
