I love the petals on these! They are unlike any other flower. I like it when they are just opening up and unfurling the way they do. So delicate, reminds me there is a God in heaven who cares about the little things. I like your black background and lighting, stunning, it amplifies the colors well done

This is gorgeous, dahlias have always been one of my very favorite flowers. The lighting is perfect just like the total depth of field. Of course, the color is beautiful as well.

This is a stunning photograph of this beautiful Dahlia. I love the color gradient shown from the middle of the flower to outside petals. Black background is great and shows this of so well! Great focus and clarity showing so much detail in the petals. Good luck in the contest.

This is a beautiful Dahlia and it is alright to call it Jodi's Dahlia. The form and color are amazing, highlights are strong at the tips and under the petal, where the lavender and the purple show through. The heat during the summer burned my dahlias but I was able to bring them back to full bloom. Jodi, good luck in the flower contest. Ray

The Linda's Baby dahlia is special because it is ball shaped , I love the gradient pink tones and the hint of purple in the very center , you have photographed it well Jodi, with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear and you have brought out such good detail in the petals as well as the center of this flower.
Exposure is perfect, the color and variations of tone appear natural.
