W for wren is a very charming photo. It is beautifully sharp and well-composed. I love the fluff of its feathers. Surrounded by the twigs and branches it seems to have found a safe perch and lookout.
The colors are warm.
Good luck in the contest!

I love Wrens, my Carolina wrens sing so pretty I can't help smiling. Composition is ok and I also like the nice blurred background. The lighting was a tad harsh. That is the reason for the half point. But overall a nice shot. Good luck

cute capture. the angle of the shot of this chubby lil bird on the branch is great. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A beautiful picture of this little female Superb Fairy Wren, her lower mandible showing a slight movement blur to show us she chirping away is on a branch with rough bark. The light sparkling in here eye, while highlighting her plumage, the branch. The blurred green background is perfect for showing off the Wren. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

an excellent close up of this fat female fairywren apparently still very hungry, asking for more food; maybe she wants to give some to her babies;

What a dear little bird, so tiny!
This could have been a superb shot, it's lovely and sharp and the composition is good, but unfortunately it's rather overexposed and the bird's breast is burnt out - do you have an editing program that could bring the exposure down a bit? It would be well worth doing as it could be a very lovely shot.

This is indeed a sweet little wren, appearing that it is well fed. The browns and whites are lovely; the eye is sharp; the beak and tail are nice. The limb and background are very nice too.
