Thanks for sharing this somewhat typical attic of this and that. Interesting old items in here. It is a little busy just like an attic. I like the hobby horse, painting, and chair in particular. Nice entry.

Hi Charlotte.. My goodness this attic is a treasure trove of rare and historical pieces of humanity.

Being an antique nut I am in awe by what I see in this excellent HDR rendition.

This take is visual evidence of the infinite HDR Depth Of Focus - know it anywhere now. Thanks Charlotte.

I also know your framing skills are becoming more relaxed and natural. Take this shot for example. Even amidst the clutter the viewer does not feel closed in for there is a logical path that takes the viewer easily on a highly detailed visual excursion - love it.

Some might comment that the color palette is rather drab, but that's ok because this is the color of antiquity.

Hi Bob, thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! I?m so pleased you like it, HDR does give wonderful effects, and yes particularly a great depth of focus.

Great to discover you?re an antique nut, me too btw. I grew up surrounded by antiques as my father was an antique dealer, specialising in 16th and 17th century oak furniture and sculpture! I followed in his footsteps for over a decade, and even had a shop in France - you would have just loved the amazing house clearances I got to do! :) Jealous yet? LOL

This is awesome ! The house I grew up in had an attic and I loved going up there and hanging out.
This attic is full of treasures, look at that horse! I love the chairs and the tin watering can too! Well captured Charlotte, this brings the viewer right into the attic, well focused, this image is clear , good use of the available light. Effective use of mixed media , I love the HDR !
