Hi Nik, I've never see an artist up close like this! You really caught a nice image of this otter. Love the way he seems to be looking around. Good Focus and lighting really allow us to see that cute face! Nice Job! :o) Nancy

You have pictured this otter really well, and I especially like how nicely it is posing for you and how well you have captured its bright and shiny eye. The background is also nicely softened for the otter to stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details together the fine textures of the fur. The exposure is perfect.
Personally I would have cropped more on the right, but the composition is still working. It is a lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.

A beautiful portrait of this curious European otter~ lutra lutra standing up on it's hide legs looking into the distance. the light sparkling in it's eyes & glistening on it's wet fur as it stands out from it's blurred background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a very attractive otter and a perfect portrait shot.
It is so close-up and personal, you want to reach out and give it a pet.
The image is very sharp and the background is a good complementary color.
