Just enough HDR Annie, and the stone definition pops. The textures and earth tones of the stone work are a nice backdrop for the contrasting vegetation.

The camera angle and the lighting makes me want to look in every little nook and cranny.

There seems like there is something coating the outlines of the stairs.

The shot is very well composed, the stone work seems like it has been there for eons. Very fine photography... Bob

This is such a beautiful and interesting scene, I love all of the textures , the stone steps, the wooden door the rock walls , the greenery , blue flowers and of course that wheelbarrow, the wheelbarrow alone is an awesome subject for a photograph. This has a fairytale look , I can imagine this as a page in a storybook.
You have photographed it well with spot on focus, this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is perfect, all colors and tones appear true and natural. Your use of mixed media brings out and emphasizes every detail. This is a place that I would love to visit.
Well composed and presented!

Really cool. I enjoyed reading your narrative of the sight.
Classic stone architecture is always a winner for me. Just imagining the hand labor that went into the original building and subsequent maintenance is awesome. Both the old wheel barrow and the sparce vegetation add a lot of interest to the scene.
A limited color palette always more emphasis on shapes and structure. The steps are nicely highlighted by something coating the edges. Very nice!

Cool Capture. The angle of the shot of these old steps and building entrance is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

A good looking image posted here together with an interesting confession too! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that old village house. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well found and taken!

A well constructed image with the stairs leading to a nicely lit door. Then when you look at the whole picture you have good detail throughout and the wheelbarrow in the bottom left corner is well placed ... interesting but not distracting. Well done.
