This is a really beautiful capture Charlotte. The contrast of the black and yellow is a stand out. I can understand why you would want to sit here and watch the world go by. The sun light on the Weeping Willows is just gorgeous. The bench is a great addition! All the best in the contest!

A very beautiful riverside scene with the sun's rays lighting up & adding a golden hue the the trailing branches of the Weeping Willows on the background that are reflected on the river's glistening surface with the silhouetted Willows & bench between them in the foreground in which I can also see a silhouetted Duck on the bottom right.. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Charlotte, so this is your goto space, I have one too but there are waterlilies in mine and it puts my mind in a nice place too. The yellows dominate and are inspiring the trees are pure comfort and create a soothing atmosphere. No wonder this is your goto place. I wish you all the best in the contest. Ray

Good view of this lone bench amongst the trees,think if only there was a silhouette of someone sitting on that bench to give it a tad of human interest and if i am being picky i might have cropped of a bit on the right in this...Brian

Yeah, that human interest, hmm that?s something we may have to agree to disagree on, I always try to avoid having people in these sorts of shots at all costs - if it had a person in it and I was reviewing, I?d have suggested that it would have been better to wait until they?d left! Lol
You may be right on the crop though :)
