What a great capture! The details in the wings are really cool. It's a little to over sharpened I think and needs a tad softness but overall a great presentation. Thanks for sharing!

Totally AWESOME! Focus is outstanding in this shot! From the beak to the tailfeathers you nailed a perfect shot! The lighting is pretty awesome too! Love the open wings and lowered feet! Don't think I've ever seen this bird before. Looks like some type of hawk! Truly a great image for the "In Flight" Contest! Wishing you the best of Luck! This deserves 10 stars! :o) Helvi

The bird appears to be somewhat unique, the feathers beautiful and the eye and face shown well, sharply captured. The background is blurred well and the grass so green. Best wishes in the contest. This is a good entry indeed!

This looks like a great entry for the contest and I was just wondering how do you get the focus so perfect, that is where I have a problem at and that is trying to get that great shot but it seems like my focus is always a tad off. I really like how this was taken and it shows the great work of a professional photographer. I really like this scene and also the way that it is framed. Hi Thanks very much for your high marking and review. On the day the light was quite good. Here are the settings I used. Canon Camera EOS 5D Mk 4. F stop F8. Exposure time 2000sec. ISO speed 1000. Focal length 560mm. Spot metering.
