This is a beautiful shot of the mist around the mountain; it gives off a mystical vibe that entices the imagination. The leafless trees in the foreground add to the total atmosphere of the photograph.

I have never been a fan of the "Kodachrome moment" where everything is bright, beautiful and innocent Nik.
That's why this shot appeals to me so much because it is as things really are.
You caught the mood of the day so very well.
The technical and artistic parameters are all well within the margins of acceptable. The detail of the scene makes the piece standout.
This is an excellent landscape with a great deal of eye appeal... Bob

Nik,
A beautiful of the mist rising up from the ground along the valley in Windermere in the Lake District which has the reputation of a damp climate & plenty of rain.. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Mist i think if photographed right can be very evocative [think thats spelt right] [spellings not my strong point] and this is a good example of this,imagine the landscape shot without the mist[would not have as good] so well done for taking this one...Brian
