Very dark feel to this, just as the Halloween season is rolling around. The colors, shading, tone and details are wonderful. Overall a nice presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Maureen, this is such a interesting piece. The way you have used the blue coloring to transition from left to right, is truly intriguing. The complexity of the piece is certainly captivating; with the tree and what appears to be teeth on the right. I enjoy how the blue carries the viewer through this piece. I like how the predominant story to be told. A very creative and thought-provoking piece. Good Job.

The view on the right is actually a small little waterfall setting. Thank you for your lovely review.

Sorry Maureen - I've studied it again and now I see the water wheel (I think that's what it's called). Regardless - I found the piece intriguing and enjoyable to review.

An interesting art piece here; lovely blue colors in the eyes and lips, and to the left in the forest. I see ,also the bridge and water, but I'm not sure of the significance of this piece as a whole.

I love the beautiful blue and thinking eyes with thick eyelashes and well defined brow. The full lips is also prominent and well drawn. The blue color is interesting and the rest of the scene is too abstract and is a mystery for me. Excellent choice of dark background. I just presumed that this lady wanted to travel because of the element of the ocean, trees, and bridge. An painting with a story to tell.

Thank you very much! The background represents trees a lake and a small waterfall

You are welcome. I see the trees and the body of water, but maybe that's your waterfall. I missed the lake. Usually lake seems calm and smooth. And I thought there's a bridge. Anyway, you are welcome.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Crazy though it may sound your fine, full and appropriate composition reminds me of Michael Jackson somehow?! Nicely drawn!

Thank you for your review. I’m not a fan Michael Jackson so I would never go out of my way to do a portrait of him.

Got it!
