An interesting composition, whereas the blooming orchids resemble a Hawaiian Lay. The image has dynamic contrast between the solid background and the sharp, detailed orchids. A fun shot.

orchidrn, I just love all your photos! This play between the white and purple color really makes this pop. I also like how you removed the background and darkened it. I would love to learn how you do that. Is it able to be done in Photoshop or Lightroom Classic?

Hi JOy, thank you for your positive comments. Actually I use an application called INPixio. It allows me to remove the background and insert a color I want.

This is so lovely. I like the white butterfly orchids against the dark background. Clarity of details colors and shapes. I'm only missing the tiny stalk of the bud at the bottom, and a tiny bluish element from the right blossom that can be quickly cloned. I love the cascading blossoms and is well accommodated by the vertical frame. A lovely photo.
