Welcome to FAR!
This is a wonderful scene you have created using unconventional instruments of art. The composition and colors are well done, and the scene is a pleasure to see.

Hi Harry, Welcome to FAR! I hope you enjoy your stay here! I could not believe you did this painting with sponges and sticks and whatever other items you found to create this with! I'm not a traditional artist but that seems like an out of the box creation to me. I think you did a very nice job with this. You can make everything out easily. To me it's amazing that you can do such a precise job! Looking forward to whatever else you do! Very nicely done! :o) Helvi

Wow! I enjoy reading the artist's notes especially the rationale of not using brushes in painting this scene and how it defeats the pleasure of surprise. I like the realistic colors especially the green leaves of the tree in contrast with the earth tone colors of the structures. The layers of textures of the clouds are beautiful and it looks real. High on drawing and painting skills and creativity. A pleasure to view.

Thank you for the artist notes - amazing choice of tools to create this very nice acrylic of a mill. The piece has a nice initial impact with loads of harmony between the overall setting as well as the other subjects that complement the scene (i.e., the silo's). I like the texture from the sponge's which I feel adds interest to any painting. A very aesthetically pleasing piece. Welcome to FAR and congratulations on this 1st post.

Looking at this painting, one can't help but feel a sense of peace and wonder at the majesty of the natural world.• By arranging objects thoughtfully and artistically, the painting creates a sense of harmony and balance. Good effort. Keep it up!

A good looking image posted here, together with interesting notes too! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of that old mil and nice location. Colours, textures and tones are fine. Nicely painted!
