Hi Annie - than you for sharing this image along with your notes.

You have pictured this painting with skillful technical knowhow and the composition of the building's bricks, add texture and interest to the background and supports the subject nicely. I find your frame to be perfect, as the building mats or frames the painting.

I so wish the United States could have art like this - here, it would sadly get vandalized or removed (like our statues).

This is quite an interesting post telling the artwork's real-life story. You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort! Thanks for sharing!

Informative historical facts per artist's notes and interesting facts that the other freedom fighter in Greece is your neighbor living in The Troupaki Tower. I like the prominent details of this painting and you have captured this well.

Think going to different places[more so abroad]you can get a hint of different cultures[provided you look for it]rather than lay on a sunbed the whole time, and this is a good example, the picture is good and the words you explain gives us a sense of where yiu are,and the sepia works for this as well, good one...Brian

One of my favorite non-nature subjects, a picture of a picture or painting or signage. The framing combined with the harsh lines of the window frames add a great deal to the story this image tells to the viewer. Also, the lighting is perfect for the scene. Very well done!
