So exotic. I love this sight of this Birds of Paradise. Great focus, lighting, and angle. The brown background fits well. Points of improvement is just to clone the tiny red blossom from the left hand side and next time allow some breathable space for your subject. Overall, this is a pleasant scene that reminds me of my life in the tropics.

Although a nice shot of this flower think the background color has done this no favours and it just sort of blends in to much,maybe a different background say a lighter one would improve this...Brian

This is such an interesting plant, I appreciate the vertical format here and the way it faces downward. This appears to be a false bird of paradise , lobster claw plant.
Well photographed with good focus, this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is good, the colors and tones appear natural .
This would improve if you had backed up enough to allow room for that top left portion. I would also clone out that red part in between the two left parts . The plant steps forward from the clear background.
This is certainly a unique and beautiful plant, I appreciate getting to see it!

On the left there is what is probably a part of another plant in between the two parts that reach toward left frame .

I'm really liking the presentation with the subject hanging down - a different spin to the floral shots typically seen, and Add's interest and initial impact in this scene. The image is sharp and offers the detail needed to feel the texture of the leaves and buds through the monitor. Set against the solid black background, the bird of paradise stands with dynamic contrast. Very attractive.
