What a superb capture. The colours are so intense. I admire your setting knowledge. The placement is drawing the eye in there is good d.o.f. as well as excellent balance in how you have levelled the different opposite tints of the colour levels.

So very cool. The cool ice of the glacier contrasted with the warm fall colored leaves, impressive. The dark skies give the photo a type of mood that maybe winter is coming.
I have always had an interest as we in the Midwest live in a continental glaciated region. All of our soils we made by the glacier.

Definitely six stars image of the glacier with nice reflection on the water. The colors of autumn in the foreground contrasting with the white snow and cloudy sky - probably bringing more of the white stuff.

Pat this is a beautiful capture of the Matanuska Glacier and done from the highway. It is 4 miles wide at the base, amazing. A wonderful reflection and the blue in the glacier is awesome. I learn so much about your state every time you post. Thank you for sharing. Ray
