For some reason these lilac leaves look different from the leaves on my bushes, but they truly great in autumn colors. I especially like the dark background and the way the light is falling on the leaves. They are also standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the leaves, and the exposure is spot on.
The cropping is nicely done, and the branch has got a very good placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with a very good DOF.

They look similar to my Service berry tree that is in full color right now also .

Wonderful shot. To an non-artist/photographer lilac leaves in fall might be just a ho hum.
But to an artist this is an amazing shot. The light reflecting off of the leaves reveals a wonderful texture and pattern. Whatever the light source was it is perfect to make these leave just pop. Good eye!

Indeed - this autumn representation of lilac leaves is gorgeous. Set against the dark background, really promotes the color, texture and detail of the leaves. I like the way the branch is curving on the top of the frame. Very pretty.

Pat, this is a beautiful patterned photo. The lighting is perfect and the colors are golden. I am kind of partial to the golden colors of fall and this fits the bill. Your depth of field puts all of the leaves in focus and creates warmth. Simply beautiful. Ray
