A beautiful picture of this Fox in the Rocky mountains on the alert with a beautiful bushy tail & very long legs. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A good looking nature image posted here together with interesting and relevant notes too! Your fine and classical composition gives us an enjoyable view of that lovely fox. Textures, tones and detail are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well taken!

Sorry that I did not have a 6 rating left, this should be given one. I am amazed by the size of the tail, it is awesome. The fox has a very attentive gaze like he sees something of interest to check out. The bokeh is perfect for this shot. LOL, I thought at first it was a three legged fox.
btw-my vote is to let Wildlife experts guide the process of wild animal management. I have seen that be effective in several other states. Often when there is a controversy, science takes a back seat.

The photo is very sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the fox, and you have also brought out so well the fine textures of the fur. The exposure is spot on.
The composition is strong with the fox off to the left, giving it room to move into. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Kathy, and with an excellent DOF.
