Just ready for the rain and you picked a wonderful content for this beautiful presentation.
The style you choosing for the pouring water from the sky is so stunning and fits your style overall as well.
Ray thank you for sharing

Strong initial impact: this is a beautiful rainy day scene, I love the grape and raspberry colors from the city lights , the umbrella calls attention to the couple who are sharing it. I love the way the wet street reflects the lights . As I study this I actually see other people who appear to be hurrying to get out of the rain.
This is a beautiful piece, very well created, arranged and presented!

Great acrylic on paper Ray. Love the luminance and the reflective foreground. Also the hidden faces adding an ominous feel to the picture. The main character appears vulnerable and alone with danger nearby. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)

Mark you are amazing, you picked up on my intentions with this piece. Two people under an umbrella in rain storm. Vulnerable and alone in the face of danger, thats the whole story. Thank you for your great review and comments. I am glad you enjoyed it. Ray

This is so cool Ray! It looks like it's pouring out so hard that it's blocking the view from everything else! Looks like there may be other people there but there hidden by the deluge! Love the subject with the umbrella! This is definitely a storm I would not like to out in, walking or driving!
Love it! :o) Nancy

Hi Ray, this is such colorful and interesting scene with the couple nestled together sharing an umbrella. The umbrella is unique in color to the rest of the scene and pulls the viewers eye into to recognize the yellow raincoats on the couple. The color carries to the ground and suggest they are standing beside a puddle. Finding refuge in the trees they are weathering the storm. Very Nice.

This is a lively painting. The unusual colours for a rainy day make it exciting to view. The pleasing composition and bright colours make this first-rate.

Love this, Ray. My first thought was that this reminded me of the Morton Salt emblem but to tell you the truth, I haven't even seen that in forever!
Anyway, I like the magenta background and what appears to be a scraping away of color as well as additional fine lines. The reflection on the ground is cool too. Very interesting work, as always.
