Lovely drawing. My favorite part is what you did with the space of the foreground and the middle ground. My eyes follow the logical order of the subjects in the drawing without feeling too busy.

Really beautiful, Linda! You've captured the husband's total joy at being a father after 16 years, his love for his wife and new baby boy. Excellent detail drawn - so much to look at - but you get the feeling of joy as you view this lovely image. Great light and shade. Great composition. Suzanne

I thought this was a black and white photo at first with a filter but you can see the wonderful details when you look closer. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Linda, You certainly fooled me! I thought the small image of this was a photo. You have extraordinary detail in this! I can only imagine how happy the parents were in seeing what you created for them. I think it was a wonderful heartfelt thing to do! Beautiful work! Just had to give you six stars! :o) Nancy

A tender moment captured in the drawing shows the mother with her newborn baby while the father stands protectively by her side, his hand gently resting on her head. Together, they form a beautiful circle of love, embodying the deep bond of family and the beginning of a new life. Lovely artwork to be treasured for life! Here is my SIX for you!

A good looking nature image posted here, together with good appropriate notes! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us a very good view of the drama in childbirth. Nicely drawn!

Oh, Linda, initially, before I read the notes or title, I thought of my folks. I've unfortantely become the POA for both of my parents; my mom experienced a massiive stroke 18 months ago and "She" was the sole caregiver to my dad. Now adays I spend every few days at their care facility - They are both struggling with dementia and I am running on fumes.
I don't know how to critique this image. It is purely "WOW" and presents with so much realism it looks like a photo. You have managed to reproduce every single detail with profection. Your talent is beyond this world. I can't go into detail, as the guest chair, pain, and overall hospital room, stirs to much emotion for me. I adore and am continually amazed at your skill. We will leave it there. Love ya Girl - Keep drawing!

A pretty touching scene showing the sacrifices of a Mom as well as the joy after having birth to her miracle son that they have been waiting for 16 years. You have meticulously drawn every details with great skills and expertise. The shading really defined the elements of your composition in this scene. Linda, this deserves a six. A piece with a joyous miracle story to tell.
