This is a lovely sunset scene . Very well digitally created , it gives the impression that I am viewing a photograph, with dried grasses that appear to be in motion from a breeze in foreground and I love the way the warm orange moves up onto the blue sky as the sun must have just dropped below the hills in back.
Well arranged giving more space to the sky which gives nice depth to your scene.
Well presented!

Hi Pat, thanks for the nice review. Interesting that you thought it was a photograph at first glance. Many people have thought my artwork was a photo also. I think the reason or that is in digital your canvas size can be enlarged just by figure gestures in making many other on screen items larger. So when I zoom in to paint detail and then zoom out to normal size again it looks incredibly detailed. This is one advantage over traditional art work on a canvas. I really like that feature. Thanks again.

When I saw the thumbnail of this image I actually thought it was a photo with a sort of soft foreground. I think this digital creation is truly beautiful, and I especially like the strong colors of the sky and the softened hills in the very background.

It is also a lovely light to be seen and it almost looks like the sky is on fire. This of course makes for a strong visual impact.

Indeed a lovely and well done digital image Allan.

Thanks Annie, when we lived in the high desert we often saw these types of sunsets so the image was burned into memory. It all came out again when I worked on this piece.
My artwork often seems like a photo as I can zoom in and paint very detailed and then zoom out again and it blends in like a detailed photo. I like that feature. I appreciate the high rating very much. It serves as an encouragement.
