The title per se is already meaningful and is consistent with the broken stair photo that looks so quaint and archaic. Made me imagine the people who have been stepping in this stairs. For sure, each have their own moments and memories to share. Great angle, focus, lighting, and presentation in plain white and undistracted background. Clarity of textures and stony materials of the wall and the stairs. Those debris are also making some message that also shows the passage of time. Wish you the best in this contest. This is a unique entry.

This is a definitely a statement photograph. I see the stairs are damaged and probably unusable. A good statement of destroyed infrastructure that may or may not recover from the devastation.
