I can see why this bird is called a swallow tail kite. I can also see that it is a lovely looking bird even if it is a raptor. I especially like the way you managed to add motion to the landing bird, and also that you added a second one in the background. It adds a lot of depth to this scene. I like the simplicity of the background and the use of blue hues.
The Kite is done paying such good attention to details and with nice shadings of the white feathers.
The format and framing works well, and it is such a fine balance in the composition with the landing bird off to the left. I think this is a lovely and well done digital painting Allan.

Thanks Annie for the review and high rating. Glad you liked the motion of the bird. I just think raptors are so dramatic you have to show them moving. If have never seen this species in real life, so a recreation is the best I can do! Wishing you and your family all the best in 2025.
