this is one i would have thought would look better in color and i say that as i like b/w think its good and different trouble is the tones are all similiar where as b/w nornanally requires several different shades,but still like it...brian

Hi Jodi, Nice shot of this Preying Mantis! I haven't seen a live one of these for along time. Your zinnia must have had a lot of bugs for this mantis to stick around all summer. Love the angle of the shot. I also like that you made this a long narrow shot. I think it fits the Mantis well. Nice lighting and pretty good focus too! I enjoyed! Good Luck in the Contest!
