Plethora of shapes and colors indeed, and I especially like the rich blue hues. It is really great lines and shapes in this painting and as always also great textures.
It looks like you started with the blue parts and then added the other colors on the top, and find that quite effective since some of the shapes are almost opaque.
The tall format works well and I think it is a fine flow and balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well done abstract painting Ray.

I see in this abstract painting, Autumn leaves and branches floating in a river, getting caught up against rocks.

This is abstract, there is no base. It will be what you see it to be. Michele, when I look at by work, I look at the picture, and enjoy the interaction of the colors and their compliments work together. The shapes and the figures if any. How do they blend in, even if it is just shapes. I spend a lot of time seeing, sometimes looking isn't enough. Thank you for your review, I am glad you like my creativity. Ray
