Hi Phyllis, Love your highland cow! The cow came across as very cute. The face is very sweet! Love that you added a flower crown , it was a very nice touch! This highland cow is really cute with flowers on her head. I think especially the eyes are well done, but I also like the fine textures you have brought out in the fur of the cow. I also like that the pink background is slightly textured.
The cow is done paying a very good attention to details, and with a very good use of high lights. Excellent brush work .
The tall format works well, and the cow has got a fine placement on the canvas. I think this is a sweet and well done painting Phyllis, and I am sure your co worker was pleased with the result.

I like this very much and can certainly understand why your co-worker would love it. It brings back great memories of my trip to the Scottish Highlands a couple years ago. The only suggestion or miner improvement I might have would be a little bit less space at the top. I love the colors you chose. The bright eyes have a vibe of curiosity and maybe "Do you want to be friends" which is really endearing. Well done Phyllis :)

I absolutely love this painting; your brushstroke work is incredible. The flowers are beautiful up close; I can feel the sweet emotion throughout the whole artwork. However, I can't help but notice that some of the proportions seem a little off. The eyes don't look identical to each other, and the nostril shape doesn't match either. The colors in the flowers seem almost muddy, and the background color isn't reflected in the lighting. Again, I love this, and if I saw this in a store, I wouldn't think twice before putting it in my cart.
