very cool capture. the angle of the shot of this lake with the upcoming storm clouds coming is great. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

I am not sure what is more impressive the image or your words stating "the delicate balance between tranquility and turmoil.
Clearly this is expressed with the still water and the threatening clouds and impending storm.
The border of rocks along the pond adds interest to the scene and leads one to the background. This image has a something to it that in my limited vocabulary I cannot put words to it. No matter, the beauty speaks for itself.

Hi Kathy, I definitely would not want to be out there when the clouds release their wet cargo! Ominous is definitely the look of this image. I'm not positive but it looks like there is a touch of fog just above the water. It could be the reflection of the clouds too. Looks like you picked a wild day to get this shot! The image is so dramatic! You really captured a moment here. Focus and lighting are right on target. The shot is awesome. Wish I had a six for you! :o) Nancy

Living in Alaska I see the almost instant changes in the weather, it's truly amazing.
This is a nice view , it's quiet and peaceful .
Well captured with nice focus, this image is clear and exposure is well managed. Colors and tones appear natural, I find the reflections on the water to be fascinating .I like the rock and grass in foreground , it gives perspective as well as giving nice depth to your scene.
Well composed and presented!
