Wow... stunning. Such an majestic angle and capture of Ms. Lady Liberty herself. The sky in the background, the clarity of the photo to see every detail in the statue, that gives it its character. Great work, thank you for sharing!

Nik,
If I still had a SIX Liberty would get it. I've seen it too as my plane to New York circled her three times as we were late leaving Dublin so lost our landing slot. I understand the torch with it's gold plate on the flame is a replacement put up in 1986. The statue was a gift from France, there's a smaller version of the statue on the bank of the Rive Seine in Paris. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A great shot of Lady Liberty who was gifted to this country by France. She is well focused and stands out nicely from the cloudy background. Some Facebook posts have her wading out to sea, leaving this country right now....Liberty in jeopardy.

Hi Nik.. You know, I've been to the city numerous times, seen times square, rode the subway and ate in Greenwich Village. But like so many others never went to the top of the Empire State Building, or Lady Liberty - sad.
This is a great shot made even better by the overcast background. Excellent camera angle, fine contrast and bright colors.

i used to see this statue accross the harbor when i came out of my apartment in Jersey City every day. nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the top part of lady liberty is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Iconic statue is this and the photo is a good clear one with good detail,i wonder why you did not do a vertical one as such,but maybe most people would do that so perhaps you wanted something different,either way its a good shot....Brian
