What a great portrait of this Meerkat. The focus and clarity are spot on, showing good details in his fur and the beautiful little face. He stands out against this background so very well with no distractions.

I think you have pictured this meerkat so well, and it is indeed posing for you in a lovely way. Especially the eyes are well captured, and I also like the softened brown background. The animal is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the meerkats's cute face, and the exposure is spot on. You have also brought out so well the fine textures of its fur.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the meerkat has got a fine placement a but off to the left. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo Mark, and with an excellent DOF.
