Alex, you have done a fine job on this skiff tinted green. On your next sketch, I think going a little darker with your sketch would be more defining and don't be afraid of details. Ray

Simple sort of drawing is this but i think thats all this needed to be,the strength of this is its simplicity and your story adds that extra touch to this, sometimes we all need to stop and think of the past and people because it can effect how we move on,both my parents are gone and have lost numourous good friends all of which i look at from time to time in my past photos,as you have done with this piece of art,its good to reflect from time to time....Brian

This bout brought a tear to my eye reading. I understand how it feels to lose a love one. Later on this month would make a year my grandma has passed on. Your dad would have had LOVED this boat! I can see him framing it and always taking it with him. Beautiful heart picture, thank you for sharing! R.I.P. to your dad! 🕊

Nice drawing. The boat form is great. The depth is great. The shading is great. The blend of the colors is great. The details is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and great job overall

I think this is a very sweet way to honor the memory of your dad, this is simple , yet well rendered to show the small green boat, the boat is well created with good show of its shape and structure. I like the way you placed it on the water.
Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

A good looking image posted here into the competition, together with a touching tribute too! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view of that quickly drawn boat. Well drawn and good luck!

In this vibrant artwork, you have weaved fragments of form and emotion in memory of your loving dad, who lived up to a grand old age. This drawing also invited viewers to find their own narratives kindly their own memories. Bravo!
