I just love these birds, but have not seen any of them in the garden for years. I especially like that you managed to include one of them coming in for landing, and the stop action is excellent. I also like how well the colors of these birds are standing out.
All the birds are standing out sharp and well defined against the background, and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in all the birds. The exposure is spot on.
I also like the format you have cropped the photo into, and with the good placement of the birds, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

What a pleasant scene of this Bohemian Waxwings getting a drink from the melting snow with one that seems to oversee them. I like how you have froze the landing scene with the wingspan really showcasing the clear patterns of the wings. Excellent angle, lighting, and focus. The composition is well arranged . This image made me longed to just appreciate the beauty of nature.

I think this one is about capturing the moment rather than getting the best shot however getting one bird in flight was good and had that not been so and just getting the birds feeding would not have been so good///Brian
