This photo was brilliant! You have intrigued my interests on the curiosity of how beautiful the rest of your flower garden probably is. Wonderful job!

This is a very interesting image. I like that it captured your imagination when I first looked at it. A hot air balloon came to mind. It certainly would make a very nice abstract print. Or a good entry for something green photo contest. The colors are vivid. The subject matter is interesting and I like the way you have filled the whole frame with it.

Hi Michele.. You used the term 'Macro'. Did you use a Macro lens? If so what size and ratio? Curious that's all because this is one heck a fine Macro take - Yowza!
The fine detail is exquisite and is only enhanced by the framing - fills the frame.
The petal crenulations are so sharply focused I can count them individually.

I did use a macro lens for the canon camera, which I have since given to my son. I don't recall the actual specs of the lens itself. I'll have to check next time I see him. Thank you though for the wonderful review and the 6 rating. I appreciate it very much.

An interesting close up of the green lines on this orchid petal. So much detail on this petal it almost looks transparent. Personally I'd crop out the black corners top of frame to give more prominence to the petal, even so a nice shot.

This is very cool. I thought it was a balloon or watermelon. The lights and shadows are great. The color vibrant. The texture interesting. We'll done!

Hi Michele, I like taking pictures of flowers from any angle that catches my eye. Looks like you captured a shot of the bottom of the petal. Love that you captured some rain drops in the shot. I also like the way the green lines curve towards the middle of the shot. Very nice shot and fun to view!

Michele, this is a very nice capture of the underside of your leaf. I can see the waterdrops from underneath, now that is so cool. The pattern design of the verticals show dimension and shape. You have a wonderful eye for recognizing design features, it shows in your work. Thank you for sharing this. Ray
