Hi Ray, This is the image that inspired me. I think that votive has magical powers! Love the way you did the candle! You have a perfect flame! Love the glass container too. I have no idea how you paint glass and have it actually look like it. I think the idea of surrounding the candle with green velvet was a perfect choice for St. Patrick's day! A very cool look that took me on a journey I didn't expect!! Nicely Done My Friend! :o)

I especially like the green background with the great shapes and lines, and also how well you have brought out the fine shine in the candle holder. I like the way the green background is shining through the glass.
The format and framing is perfect, and so is the centered position of the candle. I think this is a really great looking and well done painting Ray.
