I wish I could give you a 6 for this, but unfortunately I'm already out. Congratulations on winning the contest. This is really quite a very stunning image. The waterfall almost looks ghostlike in appearance, the contrast between it and the land around it is just spectacular. The way you have framed the focal point is spot on. Congrats again.

Len this is without any doubt in my mind one of the finest waterfall shots I've seen on this sight, including mine.

This is how lots of water in motion should look. The exposure is spot on perfect. The colors are natural in tone, hue and saturation.

This is an excellent entry for this contest - good luck... Bob

This is beautiful with light, contrast, and movement. Waterfalls are gorgeous and you have captured and created the best of this.

I enjoyed reviewing this.

Len this is a wonderful capture of the falls. The extended exposure worked well. It gives the piece brightness and it shows the actual form of the falls. The green flora on the bank is crystal clear and it anchors the piece. Thank you for sharing this beautiful capture. Ray

For me with water falls are a way that the creator of earth keeps rainfall so we can film scenes like this. Your presenting is flawless. Your angle to get this shot was brillant. Your coverage of this fall was smart, because you captured that green tree on the cliff edge, again smart.Your finished picture is stunning. Your a master artist, well done. Your colors so sweet and very well finished composition, thanks dearly.

Good one for the contest, and although it looks like a veil[think shroud might have been an even better one] the slow shutterspeed has given this that silky effect, good one this...Brian

Is the long exposure the secret to getting the water appearing silky? This is a beautiful shot of the waterfall that has created a mysterious, magical atmosphere to the photograph. Wish I had a 6 to give you.

Thanks orchidrn. Long exposure is how you get silky water and the length of exposure dictates how silky the water will appear. On a bright day you will have problems reducing your exposure so an ND filter is required which will reduce exposure by 3,5 or 10 stops (depending on the filter). There you go, now lets see some rivers, lakes or waterfalls with the silky effect.
