Wonderful capture. The angle this was taken really gives it depth. Good details, wonderful color and shading (shadows & lighting)

This is the way to end a day with a beautiful sunset. Thats why I say to always bring your camera because you never know what is in store for you that day. I like the way that when looking at this you follow the barrier from one end to the other. To me this is a beautiful photo and I wish you the best in the contest. I also like the late evening when this was taken. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

The semi silhouette of this barrier makes for a nice photo and of course the heron against the sun works well,my only though would if possible to get a bigger image of the heron [how cool would that have been]...Brian

I love the dramatic scene at first glance. The pale purple sky with accent of golden sunset is so pretty. The silhouette of the barrier and its shadow added so much depth in your composition. This is well composed and you have created a pretty calming scene.
