Not often you see flowers in black and white,and guess the color in this is really good as well,however it is b/w so will review it as such,the detail is quite good and of course the vertical format was ideal,good plain background which was also helpfull....Brian

While this is a clear and well-focused photograph, a desert rose shot in black and white does not do it justice. However, the photograph is well placed in the frame and in black and white shows an interesting outline.

It didn't know there was roses in the desert. I know the cactus produce flowers. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this desert rose is great. The capture of the light is good. The presentation is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
