What a darling image you have created here of the mama and her baby. So much love in the picture! Although I would recommend some shadows and something else in the background. Adding a light source makes a big difference. I have to remind myself that all the time because I'm self taught, and it was never for that our class! But light and shadows are everything!

Hi Phyllis, this in my opinion is outstanding , you rendered this mom lemur and her precious baby so very well with accurate shape, structure and proportions, excellent attention to every detail bringing mom and baby to life .
Very well chosen and applied color, nice placement within the space and they are standing out so well from the earthy brown colored background.
How interesting that you son has these as pets.

The background occupies 3/4 of the picture needs more than just being brown with no shadows or details or habitat and I think that would enhance your work amazingly and it would anchor your finely render Lemur.
